Sierra Vista hosts many family and children events throughout the year. Mark your calendars!

3rd-Grade Bible Presentation

Every autumn, Bibles are presented to third-grade students during one of the Sunday services. Sierra Vista UMC recognizes this important event in the lives of our children and encourages members of the congregation to serve as sponsors of these kids by purchasing the Bibles to give to each third-grade student. These donors are called Faith Friends, and they will purchase the Bible, sign it, write a note to the child, and attend the Bible presentation during the appropriate Sunday service.

On Christmas Eve at the 5:00 p.m. service in the Church Sanctuary, Sierra Vista hosts the Children’s Christmas Eve Pageant. During this special worship service, children of all ages are welcome to become a part of the Christmas Story through this inter-active worship service celebrating and honoring the birth of Christ.

For Sierra Vista kids, the Sunday school hour on Easter Sunday is an EGGStravaganza! On this morning of miracles, children enjoy an Easter Bible lesson, as well as an egg hunt at the Sierra Vista Playground. All Sierra Vistans are welcome to participate or spectate, and any filled, plastic egg donations are appreciated in the Church Office, especially from all involved children, toddler to 5th grade.
