In preparation, campers should plan to pack the following: · tennis shoes & flip flops (to wear to the pool) · swimsuit · cool, comfortable clothes that can get dirty · rain jacket/gear · sunscreen · insect repellent · toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, shampoo, and other personal toiletries · pillow, blanket, bed linens for a twin bed (or sleeping bag) · washcloth & bath and swimming towels · flashlight · Bible For security and safety reasons, campers should leave at home expensive jewelry, large sums of money, and electronic devices. At the same time, campers will NOT need to bring their own food. We will have three hearty meals per day and plenty of snacks, and we also want to also avoid insects in the cabins. All medications must be checked in with the Camp Nurse at Registration OR with the Bus Chaperone if your kiddos is riding the bus. Medications, both prescription and over the counter, must be in the original bottle with specific instructions for use. Important Notice This children’s camp is planned, budgeted, and implemented for children whose behavioral & physical development fall within a conventional range for children entering the third through 9th grades. If parents feel their children might require any special accommodations during their time at camp, those guardians should contact the camp director for additional information before registering.
