WHEN CAN A DONOR MAKE A GIFT?
A donor can give at any time, either as an outright gift now, a commitment to give over a period of years, or through a will or trust. Each gift should be very carefully considered in the context of a person’s overall plans and only after consultation with family and/or trusted advisors.
