TRIBUTES OF LOVE

I am richer
for having known you.
The world called memory
is brighter
by your presence.
Oh some will say
you are gone
but I know--
know
that you, my friend,
are as close as ever.

Ms. Reynolds was my most favorite math teacher. Although it has almost been a years since her parting of this World she is forever my favorite math teacher. And I will always remember her smile.

Love, her past student,
Sarah A. Conner

The "why" question we feel so much when the life of one of our children is taken so early in our time line. The pain we feel as parents, family and friends, who are trying to go on when left behind, can only be softened by the knowledge of our loved one being in a place where they can fully understand what we all believe in during our faith journey. PEACE. I picture Claire with a smile on her spirit as she saw heaven's doors open and the joy she felt as she entered heaven's gates. What a glorious time that must be for a soul who long believed in her Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

Claire, all of us will support John, Sara, and Ariel as true Christians do, to try to go on and continue to share the love of God our Father, and of Christ our Savior, so that we too may continue to TEACH the most important lesson of all. Jesus, please hug and kiss our sweet babies in heaven for in Faith, Hope and Love we miss them.

Ms.Reynolds was our math teacher. She would always brighten up your day when she shook your hand or gave you that beautiful smile of hers. She was truly my favorite teacher. We really miss her. The lord must have bigger plans for her upstairs.

We miss you,
Jackson M.S. 2002-2003 Voyager Team

Ms. Claire Reynolds
Truly an Angel on Earth

Not many people realize that I have known Claire since we were both very young.  I remember playing with her and Ariel as a young child in McAllen and John's first church.   I will always remember Claire as the happy girl I played with as a child.  The girl who I was in Christmas pageants with - Sunday school class.  Someone who always had a smile and made you smile as well.

We were not close after they moved from McAllen or when the Reynolds's moved to San Angelo,  but we both remembered each other and I think each of us knew that we would always have a connection...a life long friendship - I wish it was not as short as it was.  but I will always remember her smile and her genuine care.

grace and peace Claire - always and forever my friend

Although I too did not have the privilege of knowing Claire, her pictures tell a story of a bright, charming, and lovable daughter.  Her genuine personality comes through with a smile that touched the hearts of many, her actions and faith in God will continue to live in those lives she touched. The world has lost someone very special.
 With love & sympathy,
Judy Lacy

Although I did not have the privilege of knowing Claire personally, seeing her pictures and hearing the many wonderful stories told of her at her service have convinced me that she was a remarkable child of God.  I know that her love and inspiration and influence will continue to live and make the world a better place.
Love and prayers,

"No good thing is ever lost.  Nothing dies, not even life which gives up one form to resume another.  No good action, no good example dies.  It lives forever in our race.  While the frame molders and disappears, the deed leaves an indelible stamp, and moulds the very thought and will of future generations."  --Samuel Smiles

I know that she's looking down on us right now saying, "Don't be sad, I'm OK." She's just always had a positive outlook.  She always said things happen for a reason.  [Claire] was an incredible listener.  She invested in others and spread herself around to so many people, but she always made everyone feel like they were the most important.

She was always my best friend.  Sometimes she was all I had.  She was beautiful.  She had an inner glow.  She just radiated.

Claire was an adventurous spirit.  She conquered less traveled nooks of Yellowstone National Park and studied in Australia, where she surfed, skied and skydived.  I don't know that she ever knew fear.  She had not one ounce of reluctance.  That courage extended to her spiritual life.  Being a preacher's kid isn't always easy, but many knew Claire as a comfortable, conversant sounding board for convictions.  She led a Bible study at her San Antonio church.  Even after her death, Claire is still educating.
