The
children went caroling to Meadow Creek Nursing Home on December 7th, and
were well received. After singing
for residents during dinner in the Dining Room, they toured the halls singing
Christmas carols, waving to residents, and wishing everyone a Merry Christmas.
A few residents sang along or came to stand in the hall as the children
were passing by. More than a few
people there had tears in their eyes. True
holiday spirit was shared during that brief amount of time! Upon returning from caroling,
the Family Christmas Party began. Food,
fellowship, and games marked the evening, along with a surprise visit from Santa
Claus himself! It was nice to gather
as a Sierra Vista family during this busy holiday month.
